This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
When leaving a parking lot onto the street, there was a "clunk" sound which came from the right front tire area. I drove approximately one block and heard a rubbing sound, thought I had a flat. I pulled into a parking lot and observed the right front tire was tilted in toward the center of the vehicle. The dealer replaced the upper right and both lower ball joints. When I asked how this happened, I was told "metal fatigue".
The front end pops very loud when the temperature reaches 50 degrees, the dealer has checked out this promblem several times, but can never pinpoint the problem. They have been looking at this problem since it was new, but now that it is out of warranty G.M. doesn't want to have any problem with it.I've talked to G.M. several times, but they won't listen to the complaint.
