- Chevrolet Blazer Starting Problems - Now if you have power but the engine wont roll over, check all of your fuses, relays, Ect. Located in glove box 1995-1998. Next to your door 1993-2005 and under the Hood, 1994-1998 located next to battery, (just a few inches up) or close to your ignition coil, 1998-2005 located on opposite side close to air filter, now if your blazer tools over but don't start, check the gas pressure, if its getting power and not pressure, you need a new fuel pump, of your getting pressure and not power, check for loose fuses, wires Ect. Now if it has no power at all check to make sure your battery is connected right, 2ed, check your alternator, if it tools over and but dosent start, try to start it with starting fluid, if it only runs when putting in starting fluid, check the injection, thanks Lovell. (I own a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer, I am a starting out macanic, I work on my own vehicles)

I put this vehicle in the shop 3 different places. We replaced fuel injectors and cleaned them. The vehicle starts and runs fine. After driving to town (10 miles) and going to the grocery store (30 mins) it will not start. If you drive into the city (1 hour) it may completely shut down on the freeway. I will have to pull over and it will not start. You can go back to the vehicle 1-2 hours later and it will start and run. So, when you take it to the shop, it runs fine and they can't find anything wrong with it. They suggest fuel system problems. I feel like something is overheating, possibly electrical. I would appreciate any help.
