Recall 99I006000 was repaired by the dealership. However, after defect was repaired brake system will lock up, and consumer will lose control of steering. Vehicle stalled 2 times after driven, then shut off for 15 minutes then restarted, dealer reprogrammed ECM. Front brake pads replaced, resurfaced rotors, replaced worn out brakes, during light braking during light rain, ABS kicks in. Rear tires worn on outside edges, consumer did not give any specific information regarding tires.
Anti-lock brake warning indicator light came on. Took to rothrock Chevrolet, springfield, pa. They stated that the ECM module needed to be replaced and stated that it would cost in excess of $1,000. No problems prior. Is this related to the recent recall regarding the anti-lock system computer possibly?
Intermittently, while driving the vehicle at any speed, the Blazer dies. The Blazer has been to dealership 5 or 6 times for this problem. The egr valve was cleaned once and changed. The computer replaced twice, and a new coil wire replaced. Consumer still experiencing problem with Blazer.
