Consumer states ball joints are constantly failing. Consumer has had to replace them twice. A recall was initiated, but consumer's VIN was not included. Related recalls 01V200000 and 01I018000. Right front wheel fell off as a result of the faulty ball joints. There was squeaking noise on turns due to idler arm failure. Front pads worn out and rotors failed, both were replaced.
While driving, vehicle veers to the left, as if out of alignment. Upon putting foot on brakes to slow down, vehicle did not stop. Consumer had an accident, there were two injuries. Consumer states rear axle seal is leaky, when stopping vehicle or slowing, the brake pedal gives way, air bag failed.
While traveling on the highway vehicle accelerated without prior warning, dealership is aware of the problem.. consumer stated when she took her foot off the accelerator to slow the vehicle down, the vehicle stayed at the same speed, consumer tried downshifting and pumping the brakes, she had to slam on the brakes and use the emergency brake to slow the vehicle down enough to get off of the freeway, consumer stated the dealer replaced the accelerator cable, brakes, shoes, calipers and rotors.
When stepping on brakes pedal would go to floor and vehicle would not stop. In December of 1996 there was a grinding noise and brakes failed again. Consumer was in an accident on mov-1, 2001 the vehicle was toatalled due to not being able to stop vehicle.

Recall 99I006000 was repaired by the dealership. However, after defect was repaired brake system will lock up, and consumer will lose control of steering. Vehicle stalled 2 times after driven, then shut off for 15 minutes then restarted, dealer reprogrammed ECM. Front brake pads replaced, resurfaced rotors, replaced worn out brakes, during light braking during light rain, ABS kicks in. Rear tires worn on outside edges, consumer did not give any specific information regarding tires.
Owner claims that she went to apply the brakes and they didn't respond. Brakes failed on several occasions, new brakes were installed on the vehicle and not a month later the brakes failed twice more, consumer no longer owns vehicle.
When applying the ABS brakes in a sudden stop, the pedal went to the floor and the brakes failed to stop the vehicle. Brake pads prematurely worn out and dealer replaced them and also resurfaced rotors, consumer states an accident resulted because of the faulty brakes. Rear passenger side door panel material came apart, dealer replaced.
