This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Premature wear of brake pads. They wear out every six months. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that the problem was normal for that vehicle. Can NHTSA provide additional information and help in this matter.
When applying the brakes the pedal went to the floor, and the vehicle did not stop. Emergency brake had to be applied in order to stop the vehicle. Dealer replaced the brake system.
Braking system malfunctioned, causing more wear and tear on the brake pads and rotors which been been replaced 3 times. Also, ABS system malfunctioned, causing extended stopping distance which may cause a crash. Please provide further information and VIN#.

Ea 94-03; when traveling 5-10 mph down an incline and upon depressing the brake pedal to make a graudal stop, pedal became hard, resulting in extended stopping distance. Consumer has contacted dealer, dealer has replaced parts.
I had to replace the front brakes and get new rotors after 30,000 miles. Brakes are very loose, takes a lot of pressure to get them to stop. Dealer said my brakes were worn out, and needed to be replaced just 15K miles after the first service. Anti-lock feature kicks in when I drive over potholes or ice, and did not use the brakes. Also, windshield wiper problem. Wipers stop working intermittently. Dealer replaced the motor. Dealer said motor had shorted out, but the problem started to occur again. When the wipers stop and later start, after manipulating the controls, the overhead digital temperature guage turns off and on. Power window stuck in down position. Has been replaced twice. These three electrical problems (wiper, window, digital guage) seem related as they all cause a battery drain as indicated through the volt meter. Battery went dead after 6 hour road trip. Approx 50K miles on vehicle at time. Had been running the A/C the whole time, which seemed to drain battery.
When driving in the rain and pressing on the brakes, speed reduced to 5 - 7 mph, the brakes will lock up. Dealer contacted and tried to remedy the problem. The problem still exists.
When driving the vehicle on wet pavement at five to seven mph, the brakes will lock up. The consumer sometime's will have to keep his foot on the brakes to make sure the vehicle will stop. Contacted the dealer and they can't found the problem.
While driving at high speed which is 50 to 60 mph, the ABS brakes lock up. Also, when applying brakes consumer has to apply pressure to get vehicle to come to a stop.
While shifting vehicle from reverse position into drive position the vehicle suddenly accelerated. Also had no braking ability in which the brake pedal went to the floor, almost causing an accident. Had to be in a park position in order to stop the vehicle.
EA94038, ABS braking system failure; when applying the brakes during an emergency stopping situation, the brake pedal goes to floor and noise comes from the system. This happens during any type of weather conditions. The problem has been reported to the dealership.
