The contact owns a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer. While driving 40 mph, the contact lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an embankment. The air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic. The contact sustained injuries to the spine, a whiplash, and a concussion which required medical attention. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 298,430.
Air bag light remained on. Vehicle been in/out of dealer shop on five occasions, and problem still reoccurring. Please feel free to provide any further details on this matter.
No deployment of air bag during frontal vehicle collision, driver sustained chest wall contusions from the seat belt, consumer believes there was substancial forces for the air bag to deploy but GM believes the impact was offset. Nlm
Recall 99V193000/ABS: Intermittently brakes would go to the floor and grind, causing vehicle to continue without stopping. Recall repairs were done by dealer, but did not correct the problem. The air bag failed to deploy during accident that occured when the brake failed.

The airbag in my 1995 Chevy Blazer did not deploy in my accident.
