Occasional smell of gasoline within the passenger compartment area, usually when max A/C is engaged. Smell goes away prior to having checked by dealer. Dealer advise that it can't be checked if it doesn't smell when brought to dealership. Occurs several times a year since purchase.
We have had this gas leak for sometime, not sure exactly how long because the gas odor was not very strong smelling or visibly leaking until 2days ago.
While driving on interstate vehicle started getting hot. When going up on incline and pressing on accelerator, vehicle would not pick up speed. Also, a hole was burned in cargo area of vehicle, and metal part of seat belt got hot. Contacted dealer, and fuel line was replaced.
Possible design defect in the fuel pump/central port injector, failed on two occasions due to same defect. Also, fuel leveel varies from empty to fullwhen driving vehicle.
