700R4 overdrive transmissions used from 84-9?
are junk. All the updates in the world don't help. These are light duty trans. put into vehicles that the public abuse the hell out of. Whether you drive it like you stole it, or beat the crap out of it in the woods or back 40 mudding, they cannot withstand anything other than a scared 70+ year old ladies driving ability. YOUR BEST BET IS TO GET A TH350 (3 SPEED AUTO)WITH THE TRANSFER CAS, AND THE DRIVE SHAFTS FOR YOUR APPLICATION (BLZER-K10-20-30 ETC)AND SWAP IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!
