While driving from a stop the car would have a "flat spot" in first and second gears and settle down on third through fifth gears. The flat spot is felt on the right side of the car while in motion. It could also be at the crank where the crankshaft position sensor is bad. At idle, it also is rough. I give it some gas and the idle smooths out for a short time then gets rough again. The right cv boot could also be binding or is worn. Any suggestions?
