Hi, when I opened the door from inside handle , my finger got scratched with blood from inside door handle chrome. All the 4 doors have the same problem . The way this material was mad by Chevrolet is very dangerous and should be fixed immediately !! . I Just covered the doors handle with a tape so far.Cheverolet needs to fix this safety issue.
The chrome on the AC vents, the door handles and the trim around the shifter is all peeling. The door handles were replaced once while under warranty, but now, will not be replaced under warranty or under additional service agreement. This is like the incredible peeling paint on my 1994 Chevrolet Suburban. GM knew about the problem, knew what caused it, but refused to repaint the vehicle. There were thousands of complaints, not sure why they were able to ignore it.
The peeling chrome is not just because the Aveo is a piece of crap import, because my daughters 2011 Equinox is doing the same thing. They must import the chrome trim from the same place.
