Car would not shift out of park. Daughter was at a parking garage and someone helped her get it into park. She drove to Chevrolet Dealership and they fixed it for 140.00. She had trouble getting it in gear before warranty ran out and had taken it in to get it checked but they couldn't find the problem. So when it happened again she had to pay for it.
had to leave work early, take part vacation day, take to dealer, going to take overnight to fix, they have to order the part, i have to go back and get a rental car, need a ride there to get the rental car. have to leave work tomorrow to go get my car... just a big pain.
we were going to leave for vacation very soon. luckily this happened at a place nearby our home and we had the manual in the car to tell us what to do in case of this problem. wouldn't it just be better to make sure the car is built right in the first place so that this isn't a problem???? to anyone??????? makes me very mad to be inconvienced by car troubles... that should be unnecessary
