2007, both lower control arms replaced, , 2007 sway bar bushing, replaced,2007 vibration front end, low spot on rim fixed, 2008 vibration front end all rims and tires replaced tires bad and rims bent determined factory issued, 2009 vibration front end front rotors out of round fixed, 2009 lower control arms bushing replaced,2009 vibration and shaking upper strut mounts replaced,2009 upper strut mounts and bearings re-assembled reset front toe adjustment replaced and fixed,2009 sway bar bushing fixed,2010 replaced drive belt,2010 both lower control arms loose fixed,2010 upper strut mount and bearing replaced, 2012 rf strut shift (on order) and air bag light on, replaced 2 battery's waiting result on electric. The mechanical brake switch sticks in the open position. The driver depresses the brake pedal but the switch does not close and the brake lights do not come on. At least eight other complaints about this issue appear to be listed on the ntsb web site, however, many drivers appear to be unaware that the brake lights do not work and instead, they complain about a second symptom of the stuck switch: That they are unable to shift the car out of park. The owner's manual does describe a way for the driver to overcome the shift interlock problem but fails to mention that the brake lights may fail when this problem occurs. It appears that a number of people who encounter this problem continue to drive the car and rely on the shift interlock override without realizing that their brake lights are not working. I do not know if this same switch is used to disengage the cruise control, but it is common in other vehicles for the brake light switch to also disengage the cruise control. If that is the case with this model, then the stuck switch might also prevent the cruise control from disengaging when a driver taps the brakes.

The ABS warning light comes on after brake failure. Sometimes while driving the vehicle or making right turn bends my brakes fail and I can not stop if I had to. This is a very important problem that needs to be corrected. I have almost had numerous accidents because of this problem!! it can be fixed but Chevrolet should fix it at no cost to me. It is a safety recall as far as I am concerned! this is not a minor problem and other vehicles of my make, model, and year are more than likely experiencing the same problems that I am having! the exact part that needs to be replaced are the ABS wheel speed sensors for the front left and right brake.

The dealer replaced the front wheel bearings and checked the air pressure, but the failure continued. The vehicle was taken to another dealer and they performed an unknown repair. The dealer stated that the grinding noise would return in a few months because the failure was normal. The contact noticed oil leaking onto the ground. The dealer confirmed that the oil pump gasket was leaking and the dealer replaced the gasket. The failure mileage was 6,751 and current mileage was 18,000.
