The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo. While driving between 55 and 60 mph, the contact stated that the passenger compartment smelled like gasoline. The odor was noticed only when driving uphill. The dealer stated that the fuel tank "burps" and the gasoline smell indicates that the catalytic converter was working properly. The failure mileage was 34,000 and current mileage was 35,700.
