Car was traveling at approximately 40 km\H when a sudden stop occurred in traffic. My wife was about to change lanes and was looking in her blind spot and when she turned back she could not stop in time. She rear-ended another vehicle totaling her 2004 Aveo and then was hit from behind as well. The airbags did not deploy and due to this my wife has been in pain with her back and neck ever since. This occurred in Ontario Canada.

I was in a semi V car accident Wednesday November 19th, on a 4 lane major highway (I-294). I was driving a 2004 Chevy Aveo. I was cut off by the semi and my car was hit, spun out of control through 3 lanes of traffic and hit the center median of the highway. The car is totaled. The entire engine block was smashedinward. My airbag didn't deploy. I'm angry. This car has had nothing but defect after defect, but I paid for a safety feature that was faulty. I walked away from this accident, by the grace of god, and now am suffering horrific pain that is directly influenced by my airbag not deploying. I have no recourse to take against Chevy. I want documentation of this major failure. I'm lucky I didn't die. The semi was ticketed in the accident.
