after buying a new motor when my timing belt went exactly a week before then my alternator goes out while driving on the freeway i took it back to my mech. he told me that it would cost me $1300 to fix the problem i only paid 5K for the car and i have almost $4300 in fixing the car if you have a aveo change out the alternator before it goes out on you or get rid of it asap
