i was without heat in north dakota last winter when it got -45 degrees....i called my dealership where i got my car from and i got 30 different stories about "how there are only 5 thermostats in the united states" and crap like that......anyways...i finally gave in and had them special order the part. the guy lied on the phone and told me it was $80.00 plus tax and that it also wasn't a GM certified part. i ordered it anyways...remember...i went the next day to pick it up and it was only $20.00
i had my dad put it in for me it took less then an hour.
