this problem is a poor design of the AFM system that cutoff cylinders while driving to save gas. They stop making the system in later engines but fail to tell you at 100,000 miles or more you will need a extended warranty coverage or your pocket will take an $5000.00 mega hit.i have own many chevys in my day but i am very disappointed in the company right now. Chevys always had pride to be a owner but with they are cheating the owners of their trucks in such a trash way. This might be my last chevy truck ever. Chevy lifter systems had been the best ever so what happen? why no better cam systems after all these years? The Corvette got dual cams. Toyota got them in the 5.7L Tundra, A tundra..come on man!! Chevy let others make them look like chumps. Come on chevy please make us all proud again....Pleaseeeeeee!!!!
