The contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. The contact stated the brake and fuel lines was rusted and leaking fluid. In addition, the contact stated that the frame was rusted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 110,000 and the current mileage was 140,000. Updated 10/7/14
Gas tank and fuel system became contaminated with rust and was clogging the fuel injectors. Chevrolet dealer replaced 2 fuel injectors and fuel lines and cleaned existing gas tank. $1300 worth of repairs.
