When I had it in the garage to change the oil and lubricate, the technician noticed that the "mileage" was not visibly "displayed".
I was told that they needed to remove the "whole unit" to evaluate the problem. Cost estimate $600.00 plus.
Another technician relayed the information that this was a regular recurring problem with 2002 Avalanches.
I never got any NOTICE of any kind to address this issue.
