At 42 miles the engine fuel exhaust engine light was on and new replacement parts went into a new truck. then at 56 miles the light was on again and more new parts in a new truck. Then at 1250 miles a new emission reduction fluid tank was replaced. the repairs never stopped many times replacing the same parts they replaced before. This went on tell the warranty was over but the defective system was never really been repaired. I would not have room to cover all the repairs under warrant but I have all the service records. Now that the warranty is over the parts still are being replaced, and it is the same parts replaced several times before. On September 2015 I now am paying the bills and yes another emission reduction fluid tank reservoir and a EGT sensor that was replaced many times and a fuel injector. at a cost of $1370.38. The truck now sits in my yard trying to get GM Canada to do something but it is not happening. My wife and I have been stranded 3 times in the middle of nowhere in Limp mode. I used to be a mechanic for GM and have owned their products all my life, and I can say the 2011 duramax diesel has a defective regen anti pollution system and they refuse to fix them but just ad parts till warrant is off. I know most all if not all 2011 duramax diesels have the same issue, how can they get away with this?
