I was driving north on I-65 traveling about 65mph and the Rear Air Suspension failed and dropped to the point the tires were about 1 inch (2.54 cm) from the finder wells. I lost control of the car, the rear end was bouncing, almost causing me to crash. Not only that, but I had to drive it home with the hazards on, while driving on I-65, people passing me at 70mph. Cadillac knows about this fault and refuses to fix it. They want to charge you $1,000 plus to replace the entire system. My Cadillac was just at the dealership about 8 days prior to this incident for mileage scheduled maintenance, in which the suspension is one of the things they were supposed to have checked out. Someone if they haven't already is going to get killed when this happens. There is no warning.

Takata inflattors: Had been having difficulty with the steering in my Cadillac 2014 Cadillac Xts vsport for sometime back in 2017. It would become hard to steer at times when negotiating turns especially or when backing up and turning. Had reported to joe bullard Cadillac service department on several occasions and they inspected the vehicle by putting it on the computer to see if and thing showed up which nothing did on the many many occasions which I took the vehicle into the for this concern. Then on November 22nd, 2017; I was traveling on a community street and the vehicle would not turn and I had a server accident with the vehicle as a result. This accident incurred over $22, 000.00 worth of vehicle and property damage which is considered by my auto insurance provider as an at fault accident on my part. Yet in all reality, it is a recall safety issue which could have done others and myself great physical harm. Vehicle was in motion.

The contact owns a 2014 Cadillac Xts. While driving at approximately 10 mph in snowy conditions, the steering wheel seized and all the warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. The ignition was turned off and on and the steering returned to normal. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the diagnosis was unknown. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 14V409000 (steering). The failure mileage was approximately 19,500.
