Hopefully you can read my other complaint about the transmission not shifting to 2nd gear until 5500 rpm. I tried to have this problem repaired each time I took it in for my other transmission problem. On occasion, when going uphill, the engine starts to lug a little, and I push down on the gas pedal, the transmission doesn't downshift to provide power to go up the hill. I took the car in 3 times and I was never able to duplicate this problem the a service tech. I haven't experienced this problem in a while so it's less frustrating than my other problem. But it is more dangerous as I was almost rear-ended on a freeway trying to pass a slower car and my car just lugged up the hill.
