This technical bulletin provides a procedure on replacing the pedal assembly to correct a condition of brake lights always on, cruise control inoperative and/or discharged battery due to the plastic Brake Pedal Position Sensor (BPPS) flag bracket allowing to much rotation causing the BPPS sensor to indicate the brake pedal is applied.
