The Cadillac dealership knew there were issues with the rear toe link on my XT5 and they replaced it with the same defective parts and sent me on my way because the car was still under warranty.

Because my XT5 was not included in the SRX recall, they felt it was okay to replace this toe link with the same defective parts. Since then I have had the same toe link replaced an additional 4 times 3 times under warranty and the last time was not covered under warranty and I was charged $300 to repair the same problem with the same defective parts.

6 months later the toe link went again and ruined 2 brand new tires with less than 45,000 km on them, and the dealership says it has no liability on these toe links because the XT5 is not on the recall list even though they are using the same adjustable toe link the SRX recall. the recall tells the dealership to replace the adjustable toe link with a non adjustable toe link. i asked the dealership to do the same with my XT5 and they seem to be ok with me driving off the lot with repairs that will guarantee failure and possibly cause me to crash or roll over or die. Capital Cadillac in Regina are okay with these results until a death or recall.
