I bought my 2020 xt4 new in 2/2020. I have had multiple one off or random problems as well as multiple reoccuring problems. Some have been fixed and some not, since there is not a fix from Cadillac. My car even wasn't built to the build sheet as the wireless charger was missing and the console was the wrong color. Most problems don't throw an error / fault code so they claim they can't replicate or find the problem. Refer tsb 20-na-074. This is very sad since buying Cadillac used to mean Quality. Not sure I can say that anymore.....
Update from Aug 10, 2021: Dealer did fix this. I am not sure they followed the TSB from cadillac but it looks like it has been corrected. The dealer told me they just fixed the edge chips by repainting those. The TSB refers to other things they should have also done but doesnt look like they did. Only time will tell if they added in clearance or padding to not have paint chips re-occur due to lack of clearance between panels.
