N192264170 - SUB - Certain 2019 model year Cadillac XT4 vehicles equipped with a 2.0L. 4-Cylinder Turbo engine do not properly clear the permanent status for EBCM DTC U0100 (loss of communications with ECM) or U0101 (loss of communications with TCM) if a service tool was used to clear these DTCs. Vehicles with the permanent status set for these DTCs could potentially fail an emissions inspection in certain jurisdictions that check the permanent status of DTCs. Dealers will reprogram the electronic brake control module (EBCM).
