pretty bad

This is my mothers 2004 XLR with 25,000 miles on it. It is a Florida car but always garage kept like new. Last week she was driving on 75 when the roof came flying off while she was doing about 75 mph.This is now at Cadillac while the engineers look at the issue.

Not driving the car, scared if the roof comes off and hit car or someone could cause injuries or death!!!!!! This car was over $100,000.00 and garaged keep this should not be happening! Dealership saying nothing they can do to help me! So disappointed in GM!!!!

I love the car but it has been in my garage for a year. Not sure what to do about the roof. Plan to address it this summer with a body shop. The dealer is so expensive with any kind of work they do and it's no longer under warranty. I'll post both the Vin number and pics when I return home from Florida Mid- March.
