The complaint received via E-mail. I purchased a 2002 Cadillac Seville sls with 29000 miles on the car. It had a terrible vibration that comes through the seat and the steering wheel. I balanced the tires 3 times, aligned it, replaced rotors and finally replaced the Cadillac wheels and tires that came originally from the factory. The vibrations are the same. According to a web site I found, at least seven other Seville are experiencing the same problem. I have spent over $1500 since September of 04 and have not found that tires and wheels are the problem. The cad dealer has not a clue as to what to do for me. Cadillac case number is 1-2943339661.

Vehicle will start to shake when driving over 40 mph. Contacted dealer, and dealer was not willing to do anything. The consumer states that the dealer tried to remedy the problem, but was unable to do so. The vehicle has had a new driveshaft, a new winshield was applied due to a chip in the inside of windshield, the wheel had been bent/replaced, balanced/aligned and added a new rim, and supposedly a new set of tires from Cadillac-but had the same markings of the old tires/supposed to have been taken off. With all repair and maintenence made on the vehicle, the vibration still exsists and seems to get worse(the longer the trip and when going around curves/straightening out). The engine whines when you accelerate and decreases when slowed, also the transmission makes a big clunk noise and lunges when it first shifts.
