The contact referred the manufacturer to NHTSA recall campaign # 98V144000 ( concerning visibility:windshield wiper/washer, and was told that NHTSA's information was incorrect. The manufacturer issued case # 71-510434063. The current mileage is 63,000, and the failure mileage was unknown.
