This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have Remote Vehicle Start is inoperative. Tech will need to ensure that the FOB being used to start the vehicle is not programmed as FOB 3 or 4. Technician should be advised the Only FOB 1 or 2 can remote start the vehicle.
