After shutting down motor and putting into park, and then restarting motor, transmission will not go out of Park. After checking manual, it gives several ways to resolve it. It seems to be connected to brakes, but not every time. It is hit or miss to get it out of park. Mainly, just sitting and waiting for it to go into gear. It is addressed in the manual, so it is something Cadillac manufacturers know can happen.

This should be in the recall of the Cadillac to be repaired by Cadillac. Is there any solution? From Cadillac or maybe someone knows what can be done. We are stuck in park for sometimes an hour until something kicks in. What a problem!!!
