Very expensive engine to repair IF parts can be located.
Technician states this could be as simple as replacing the VVT solenoid for $700 OR it could be an issue with the wiring, OR it could be an issue with the computer, OR it could be a sign of the timing chain failing. None of which are cheap or easy repairs on the Northstar engine.
