This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have a rear camera or radio inoperative. Technician may find a Diagnostic Trouble Code B127B sym 2B. Technician will need to gain access to the Human Machine Interface and unplug the X1 connector terminal 5 (circuit 5986) and test for 12 volts with the ignition mode switch in the ON position. When there is no voltage found on terminal 5 (circuit 5986) inspect X205 for possible terminal damage on circuit 5986 terminal 19.
