This car started giving us problems in February of 2020. The car would start jerking when shifting 1-2 gear and also when stopping. Took it to Cadillac near me and they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Instead they told us to do some other stuff because it needed to be done at 83,000 miles. Walked away spending 300 dollars and the problem was still there. Took it to a few other mechanics to look it and no one could find the problem.

In May of 2020 I was driving home and the car started jerking on the road and my car died. The transmission died on me. We replaced the transmission and the car was drivable for about 3 months - and now it’s giving us new problems. When I am trying to press on the gas the car starts shaking and it jerks around. At one point it was shaking so bad and the engine light started flashing - and mind you, I had my kids in the car with me. We have spent so much money on this car so far probably over 5,000 to fix nothing.

We have contacted GM AND CADILLAC AND THEY DON'T WANT TO DO anything to help. Currently it’s back at our mechanic to see if he can see what is going on. If he can’t figure it out I will call the bank and have them take this piece of s***. Paid so much for a car that has given me nothing but problems. The bank can deal with GM at this point. I am already paying a $600 car payment I can’t keep putting 500 in this thing every other week and just keep having the same issues. If someone has any insight that would be so helpful.
