I bought this SUV exactly 4 years ago. After all the paper work was done the salesman gave me the key and we proceded to go thru the vehicle I just bought. When I asked the salesman where was the spare tire he told me that there was not any spare just a small compressor that contained adhesive in case of a flat it sprayed the adhesive into the flat tire, Caught up in my excitement I was not happy. When I got home the next day I called the Massey Cadillac dealer North in Orlando and asked how much would it cost to add a spare tire? I was told that it will cost $800.00 because they " would have to make the hole under the floorboard bigger" and then add the spare tire. I think that this was a terrible thing for GM Corporation to do to their customers and the dealer made it worse by trying to charge me $800.00 for a spare tire. I have been buying Cadillacs most of my Adult life. I have just bought a "spare tire kit" from a Cadillac tire on line ,I saved $200.00. Besides the tire, rim, and jack everything else in the kit is foam painted black, what a rip-off. I kind of put it in the back of my mind for 4 years and forgot about it until my bro-in-law who was on the way to my home had a bad flat tire and you guessed it he bought his new Camaro with "no spare" also and would be late (3 hours) in coming to my home.
