This is the third time this problem has occurred. This time I nearly had a collision on a major highway during an ice storm. The sensor went bad again, only this time a noxious odor entered the cabin. I think GM has pulled a fast one on this and that eventually you will see a recall on these cars. The sales associate at the dealership told me the same thing happened to him in his Tahoe. GM customer service also sucks.
This is an extremely dangerous problem. A light comes on the dashboard stating "decreased engine power" and they mean it. When you depress the accelerator you can go about 10 mph - that's it!

This is the second time this sensor has gone bad. Again, decreased engine power, again, unable to make the car go above 10 mph.
