Our vehicle randomly went into limp mode or "reduced engine power", and a bright new check engine light alerting us of a problem. I just had my engine air filter and oil changed a week previously. I went to get sensors checked for car alert codes and p0172 p0175 p0191. All came back, bank 1 and 2 severity 2/3 fuel trim system RICH and fuel rail pressure sensor performance, and this lead to the check of possibilities like looking at spark plugs, Injectors, etc, well when removing oil cap to remove upper engine cover my fresh oil change smells like a ripe old lawnmowers gas tank. Upon more research it could be fuses but of course everyone wanted to diagnostic check of $100+ before they could say anything but refused to look at fuses first as a just Incase procedure. Car will randomly blink check engine on, cools down, doesn't pop up for days, BUT fuel mileage at absolute worst, has hard idle while on ECO setting, and since limp mode reoccurs I have "avoid all highways" in my GPS adding about 20 mins each route to anywhere. Still have not been able to distinguish which parts or what system is the culprit. This is just my FIRST complaint about this car.
