This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have remanufactured HFV6 engine with a Misfires, Lack of Power, Rough Running Engine, or Oil Consumption. Technician will need to check the engine part number and serial number on the metal tag located on the lower right side of the block. Technician should replace the engine if the Part number , build date, and the engine serial number is listed.
