First they told me that the car didn't seem to be any louder then any other car!! I told them to take it on a test drive and open there ears!!!First I was told the problem seemed to be the Oil Regulator Censor and that it only was loud the first 15 seconds of start up... Once again, turn up your hearing aids.. the problem was bad enough that I was getting funny looks at stop lights from other drivers in their vehicles. Another weeks goes by and I am told now that it might be the Camshaft Actuators and since they didn't know which one was causing the problem... they would have to replace all 4 of them!!! Mean while Labor Day weekend goes by still no SRX. Once again I call the dealership.. This time I am told that they replaced the Camshaft Actuators and the problem was still there. They were waiting on the manufacture to call back with another idea! Finally, they were told to replace the Timing Chain Tensioners per Tac Case..3 of them. I finally received my vehicle back.....13 days later. WHAT DOES CADILLAC CUSTOMER CARE SAY ABOUT ALL OF THIS?... THERE IS NO PROBLEM!!!!! The dealership assured them the problem has been fixed!!! Is that Bullshit or what!!! Ive had the car for almost 9 months and haven't even drove it for 6. Everything that a car shouldn't ever have to have changed in its life time has been changed on this car and I am told that "There is nothing wrong now!! What the heck is this CAR world coming to? There have been other issues but nothing to the extent of these few that i have listed. If anyone else is having this kind of luck with their new CADILLAC, voted #1 three years in a row... I would love to hear about it and even take some advice.
