My daughter was burned twice by the tailpipe on the 2004 Srx. The first time I called Cadillac they told me that this was the only case on file regarding the tailpipe. Six weeks later she was severely burned again. This time Cadillac opened a case file and the case was closed because the vehicle was built per Cadillac specifications.
