The contact owns a 2004 Cadillac Srx. The contact stated that the vehicle has been a safety risk since the time of purchase. The vehicle stalls and shuts down while driving at various speeds. The instrument panel illuminates and the steering wheel locks. The contact can predict when the vehicle is about to stall because the rpms increase. The vehicle was brought to the dealer on five occasions for the stalling, but the dealer could not duplicate the failure. The speedometer and air bag sensor light failed. Intermittently while driving. The vehicle lunged forward while driving and the electrical system malfunctioned. The contact felt the vehicle was a lemon and that NHTSA should be aware. The current mileagewas 51,000, and failure mileage was 100.

While driving power steering failed. This caused the steering wheel. Back door does not open. While the consumer drives the vehicle it bounces. The vehicle moves with out foot on the gas pedal as a result of high idle.
