The contact owns a 2004 Cadillac Srx. While driving 45 mph, the vehicle suddenly stalled. There were no warning lights prior to the failure. The vehicle was towed to a repair shop where the PCM was repaired. After 2,000 miles, the engine locked up and stalled again. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer who stated that the repairs would be at the contact's expense. The contact called the manufacturer who offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
The contact owns a 2004 Cadillac Srx. The contact stated when braking to a complete stop, the vehicle would lose power and hesitate to accelerate. The dealer replaced the throttle body assembly twice, the power control module was replaced and reprogrammed and the body gasket was also replaced. The failure was not corrected. I purchased this certified vehicle in 2007 with 35,000 miles my engine light has been coming on since 12/08 I went to he dealership on several occasions and the told me it was my gas cap or onetime they said it was my oil that needed to be changed. I continuously had this problem bringing my vehicle back and forth to get repaired and my engine light is still on and now I have a problem with my engine where the dealership advised me not to drive my vehicle.

The dealer and manufacturer was unable to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer had the vehicle inspected by a Cadillac specialist who was unable to diagnose the failure. The dealer updated the computer four times, but the engine continued to stall. The current and failure mileages were 48,000.
