I bought 1 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Certified Pre Owned from a Cadillac dealer in Pompano Beach FL in 2017. This included a 6 year warranty until 2019. The paint started to fail on the hood and roof of vehicle in 2018 and I brought the vehicle in to the dealership I bought it at to report this issue. They claimed that paint is only covered for 1 year and is not part of any warranty or extended warranty. I debated this with them saying this is a $90k vehicle and the paint failing in the first 5 years is unacceptable. They directed me to GM to report this, which I did, but they only gave me a report number and wanted to talk on phone to avoid anything in writing. That department also denied the claim and told me they wouldn't fix this. The estimated cost is over $4k to paint this vehicle. This looks like the same issue as the GM Class Action with paint and this vehicle should be added to class action immediately. I need help with this.
