This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that the air conditioner blows warm air. If normal diagnostics from service information does not lead to a correction and it is found that the air conditioning compressor is not engaging check for any communication codes in the vehicle and address them first. It has been found in some cases that there is no communication with the sensing and diagnostic module that was causing the air conditioning compressor to not engage.
