The contact notified imperial valley Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac (602 wake ave, el centro, ca 92243) and was informed that they neither had the tools nor the procedure to repair the vehicle. The contact notified the manufacturer and was informed that they knew nothing about the recall. The contact was transferred to another number however, there was no response. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

This is based upon takata"S decision that front passenger airbag inflators it supplied to GM are defective. GM has submitted to NHTSA a petition for inconsequential and NHTSA has granted GM until August 2017 to complete its investigation and to submit all data supporting the petition. If the petition is denied, GM will conduct a recall of the airbag inflators covered by takatas defect information report. For more information visit www.regulations.gov and search for docket no. NHTSA-2016-0124. Safety risk: The propellant in some types of takata airbag inflators can degrade over time, especially after long term exposure in hot and humid regions. If the propellant degrades to a certain level, the inflators may rupture during deployment, causing serious or fatal injuries. I own two Cadillac vehicles and coincidentally they have the same recall and, the same indicator light has illuminated on both vehicles. I am concerned that this recall is a potential hazard. We live in Florida where it's hot, so we constantly drive in the sun. For both vehicles to have a recall and now both indicators for airbags are illuminated I believe that this may be apart of this takata issue.

I received a recall letter back in 2016 and they still don't have in the part" why not" I am afraid to be in this car and I live in a hot state, Georgia. Takata recall. I have made several attempts to have the airbag replaced based on the recall. I contacted bentley cadiillac today at 1:02 pm, spoke with "jd" and was told that they do not have that part and they can not get it because takata went bankrupt.

Takata recall - have made numerous attempts to clarify recall at dealership with no conclusion. Dealership says no recall and replacement is available although we have received information that the vehicle is affected by the takata defect. In a letter re: Tk holdings Inc it specifically reads in bold script, "if your vehicle contains a defective or potentially defective airbag inflator and is under recall, contact your nearest dealership immediately to schedule a free repair." Dealership says they no nothing about this. I read that GM had until August 2017 to remedy situation but have not heard results.

Takata recall. I have two kids and am scared to drive my car with this recall. Its been over 2 years since the first contact with GM. At that time they said they would follow up with me and still never have. I checked the status on their website and it says: Recall status: Incomplete. Remedy not yet available not sure what to do.
