To replace the Computer Controlled Clutch solenoid, required complete R&R of the engine/trans cradle. Extended warranty decided replacing trans w/salvaged "vin specific" trans was cheaper by $300+. Job turned out OK now, Trans behaves well. Hoping for long life.
Needed loaner car for nearly 3 weeks to accomplish job, as replacement trans came from some distance, methinks. Cadillac Dealership did work - good job.
But I had to pay for alignment ($100) not in warranty. I guess that's fair.
