This Preliminary Information communication advises the technician how to diagnose vehicles with the CD player inoperative. If this concern is encountered, cycle the CD player fuse and re-evaluate the concern. If the concern is no longer present, replace the CD player. When the CD player is still found to be inoperative after cycling the fuse follow Service Information diagnostics.
