This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have Diagnostic Trouble Code P0606 during normal vehicle servicing procedures such as clearing codes or connecting the 12 volt battery. To clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code technician will need to close all doors and rear hatch, press and hold the power button to put the vehicle into service mode, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code using Global Diagnostic System 2, Power off the vehicle, open and close the driver?s door, wait one minute, and start vehicle and ensure Malfunction Indicator Lamp is not illuminated.
