The contact owns a 2004 Cadillac Deville. The contact stated that the key failed to release from the ignition switch. The contact had to disconnect the battery cables in order for the vehicle shut off. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 100,000. Updated 12/19/14 the consumer stated the vehicle was repaired. The owner paid out of pocket for the repair. Updated 05/27/2015
