The contact owns a 2002 Cadillac Deville. The contact stated that the brake pin detached when she depressed the brake pedal. She contacted a local Cadillac dealer who will have someone inspect the vehicle. The dealer stated that they had never before seen that type of failure. The dealer had the vehicle since the failure occurred on April 27, 2007. The contact stated that as a result of the failure there was some property damage it crashed into a fence. The current and failure mileages were 45,000. Unknown 06/08/07.
